Red Ribbon Week is 10/25 through 10/29. During this week, we strive to teach our students the importance of remaining substance free.
Northstar is participating this year by a having a week of Theme Days. Below you will find the schedule:
Mon 10/25: United We Stand. The students are encouraged to wear RED. The students will show their unity by having a stand together around the building to 'chain out drugs'. They will try make a human chain around the entire school
Tues 10/26: Double up Against Drugs. Find a friend and dress alike!
Wed 10/27: We've "Hat It" with Drugs: Wear your favorite hat to school
Thurs 10/28: Say Boo to Drugs: Wear or bring your costume to school (you should receive a note from your child's teacher with instructions) Their will be a shuttle to Westridge Nursing Home/Park Lane Village to show off everyone's costumes.
Fri 10/29: NO SCHOOL
Parents are encouraged to discuss the activities at home with their children and help stress the importance of living a drug free life.
