The Knoxville Elementary PTO will be running a concession stand during the West Track Day on May 6th. Proceeds from the stand will be used to help with the cost of the shirt that your child gets for the track meet as well as other needs of the school.

We are looking for help. We are in need of volunteers to help run the stand. If you are interested in helping please fill out the form below and return to the school by Wednesday April 27th.

1^st Grade will be running from 9-11 and the Kindergarteners from 12-2.

The West Elementary Library is currently seeking volunteers to help with the upcoming Book Fair.

The Book Fair is held February 21 through February 24.  There are still many open spots available!

Knoxville Community School District is currently conducting their search for kindergarteners for the 2011/2012 school year.

If you or someone you know have a child that will turn 5 on or before September 15, 2011, please fill out the form and turn it in to West Elementary as soon as possible.

West Elementary will be getting a little design work done on their walls!

Phrases like " Be Respectful, Do your Panther Best, and Be Teachable" will be put up in the halls at the school.

If you would like to volunteer to help rub these Upper Case Living phrases on the walls, please contact West at 641-842-2185.

The West Elementary Winter Concert will take place on Thursday, December 9 at the Middle School Auditorium.

Kindergarten and Kinderprep students will perform at 6:30 p.m.

First grade students will perform at 7:30 p.m.

Each concert will last less than 30 minutes.

Your child must be at the the Middle school 15 minutes prior to performance time!!

Once your child has finished peforming, you may pick up your child at their designated staging room.
