As you know, our elementary schools participate in various fundraising activities throughout the school year.  Did you know that we have a fundraiser that you can participate in all year long?  And, that this fundraiser doesn't cost you anymore than what you already pay for groceries?  Not only that, you don't have to feel like you are shaking down your family and friends! 

I'm talking about Box Tops for Education.  The program is simple for parents and fun for the kids.  Each month, the students receive a collection sheet.   Fill that sheet with Box Tops and turn it in before the end of the month.  The student in each class who brings in the most Box Tops will win a small prize that month.  The classroom that brings in the most in a month will also receive a treat. 

Each Box Top collected is worth $0.10 to our school.  Think that doesn't sound like much?  Imagine if 20 kids each collected 10 Box Tops.  That equals $20 for our school.   If 50 kids participate, that is at least $50 for our school - you get the idea!

Don't have time to clip them?  You can also earn Box Tops simply by shopping on-line at the Box Tops Marketplace.  Visit the marketplace and find the store you want to shop from.  They have over 100 different stores to choose from!  Click on the store link from the Box Top website and Voila!  Your shopping just earned our schools money.   AND, as an added bonus, if you shop between now and September 30th and this is your first time shopping through the marketplace, you will earn 5 bonus Box Tops. 

Another way that you can earn cash for our schools without clipping is through the Reading Room.  Box Tops and Barnes & Noble have teamed up for education.  If you shop through the Box Top Website at Barnes & Noble, you will earn 6% cash back for our schools! 

This is also a fun way to get grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors involved in our schools.  Without opening up their pocketbooks!
